Since 1984, the Lords of Leather have produced an annual Mardi Gras Bal Masque, in tableau fashion, traditionally held the Sunday before Mardi Gras.
The only exceptions were the following balls which were cancelled:
Bal Masque XXIII in 2006 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Bal Masque XXXVIII in 2021 during COVID-19.
