The Lords of Leather, Inc.

The Mystic Mardi Gras Krewe of The Lords of Leather, Inc. is the only leather-oriented Mardi Gras Krewe in the country — purportedly the world.  A social organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana, our purpose is to function with “medieval” traditions as a leather-oriented Mardi Gras Krewe in addition to being a leather-oriented social club.

The primary purpose of the Krewe is the presentation of a Bal Masque for supporters, special guests, and members of the organization.  The annual Mardi Gras Tableau Ball is planned, organized, and presented in royal traditions as further defined in our Bylaws.

As a leather-oriented social club, the organization conducts special activities of interest to the leather community and to the community at large by promoting general education, public awareness, and appropriate charitable fundraising events related to issues of significance to the LGBTQIA+ community.
